It is very important that your nurture yourself in the way appropriate for your particular moon sign. Nurturing yourself in this way gives you the foundation to explore your goals and ambitions.
BASIC BODY NEEDS BY ELEMENT
MOON IN EARTH SIGNS: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Treat your body with touch. Hands on massage, acupuncture, fabrics that feel good to the skin, lotions, sun-bath
Food requirements: processes and assimilates green leafy vegetables. Fruits in moderation. Ratio should be 2/3 green vegetables and 1/3 fruits. Eat nuts sparingly. Energy already grounded enough.
Foods should be eaten in this order:
Greens
Fruits
Nuts
Other vegetables sparingly
Foods to Avoid: Jelly Beans. Over-indulgence in nuts. Processed foods. Artificial dyes and colors. Synthetic foods do biggest damage to earth’s overall system. Because moon earth signs are already grounded, heavy foods such as meats and cheese should be avoided.
Sleep: Sleep with schedule of the earth. Sleep when sun is down. Wake when sun is up.
MOON IN AIR SIGNS: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Communicate with your body. Ask it how it feels, what it wants. Dialogue with your body!
Food requirements: Nuts and other dense heavy foods. Needs heavy foods to ground energy. Most likely to be able to process meats, esp. Libra and Gemini
Foods should be eaten in this order:
Nuts
Green Vegetables
Juicy, citrus fruits
Foods to Avoid: Anything gummy such as wheat products, rice products, etc.
Sleep: Ability to program body for sleep schedule most appropriate for particular lifestyle. Should take naps and be well rested for early evening, when breeze is highest. Sleep cycle best periodic, in short spurts
FIRE SIGNS: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Challenge your body through physical exertion
Food Requirments: Hot foods, peppers of all types (bell peppers, Serrano peppers, jalepeno) ginger, garlic. Food should contain lots of fresh herbs (cilantro, basil, thyme, etc.)
Foods to Avoid: Ability to process artificial foods but such foods can alter their judgement and performance. Fire signs have quick reaction times and make good athletes because they instinctively know how to make the right move at the right time. Synthetic foods do not necessarily lower energy but can cause them to make right move at wrong time, or wrong move at the right time. DEFINITELY AVOID ALL CAFFEINE PRODUCTS.
Sleep: Needs very little sleep. Should not sleep during the day and wake at night. The more daytime energy they get, the later that this energy will sustain them into the night.
WATER SIGNS: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
Nurture your body with aromatherapy, sound/music, baths
Food Requirements: High concentration of fruits and assortment of colorful vegetables (radishes, broccoli, purple cabbage, etc.)
Foods to Avoid: Excessive sweets. Processed sugars. Alcohol (except for trained, ritualistic purposes)
Sleep: Needs the most sleep. Healing happens through sleep and dreams. If they have a problem, they should turn it over to their Higher Self and take a nap. If nap taken during the day, shades should be pulled down to make room as dark as possible.

I gotta say, I'm a Libra and almost none of the air sign info really applies to me.
I do however, LOVE taking naps!
